Other Insurance Plans

Some plans will not pay for out-of-network services.
It is the patient’s responsibility to check with the insurance
carrier regarding out of network services and payment.

We will file claims with other insurance plans, however, please know that the cost of our services may be higher and any balances remaining after payment of the insurance carrier are the responsibility of the Guarantor to pay.

Work Related Injuries

All workers’ compensation claims must be verified with the carrier prior to receiving treatment. Employers without worker’s compensation coverage must contact the Worker’s Compensation Coordinator prior to treatment of any injured worker. Most group health plans will not cover work related injuries.

School Insurance

School insurance is secondary to any other health care coverage. This coverage is affordable to most families however, please know that it is often inadequate to cover the full cost of surgical services. Any balances unpaid by the School Insurance are the responsibility of the parent or Legal Guardian.

Auto Accidents

Your health care insurance may not cover the cost of treatment as a result of an accident in an automobile. Your car insurance carries some benefit for medical expenses. You must pay for your services at the time of the visit and then take your receipt to your agent for refund. We will not bill auto accident insurance directly. If you are in litigation, have your attorney contact your health insurance carrier to execute a subrogation agreement. Only with this agreement can we use your healthcare insurance for treatment of auto accident injuries.
